When and where is this event?
A "Hopin Hybrid" event. We'll be in 2 places at once! All of the event will be hosted on the Hopin platform, and all of the event will be physically taking place in Wroclaw at Concordia Design.
What does "X-Tech" refer to?
Nearly any type of Technology-driven company that aims to disrupt.
Who should attend this event?
I have already bought a ticket to Wolves Summit. Do I need to buy another ticket to CEE X-Tech Awards?
Yes. But discounts do apply.
What happens if I buy a ticket and I don't show up at the Gala?
Well, we'll certainly miss you. Refunds are cheerfully provided up to 15 days before the date of the event. After that time, however, we regret that no further refunds are possible.
What happens at the awards gala?
The greatest priority at the awards gala is the opportunity to talk with the jurists, panelists and other attendees. This is a peer-to-peer networking opportunity like no other.
Why should my company submit a nomination?
We have found that the most savvy companies understand the public relations value and media attention from being distinguished at the very top of one's field. Past winners have used their nominations and awards to build esprit de corps and a sense of community, both internally and among clients and suppliers.
Winners do not take all. Each nomination that moves past the jury's first vote (to the short list) is also promoted via our media and our associated partners -- both before the award event and for several months after.
Does it cost anything to submit a nomination?
No. Nominations are free of charge. Furthermore, nominations and award winners are independent of any sponsorship or partnership. We detest "paid for" awards events. Our event is fully independent and transparent. Even the jury will not know who won awards until the envelopes are opened on stage on 21 October.
What are the rules regarding nominations?
Anyone can nominate anyone and there is limit of 3 submitted nominations per company. We have learned that the winning nominations are usually submitted by the candidate company itself (not their PR company), because they know best their organization. Nominations must be submitted online (see Link on the website) before the deadline.
Who is on the Jury? And why such a composition?
We like a large jury, and in 2021 we'll have 25 jurists. These men and women represent investors, key influencers in the CEE X-Tech ecosystem, and companies which have already expanded internationally from the CEE region. Therefore, they have notable experience in investing, building out, and scaling technology businesses globally. They represent an array of industry verticals. Each year, we rotate at least 33 percent of the jury members.
Can I sponsor the event?
Yes. You will find a number of value-added sponsorships that can help you to fulfill your B2B marketing objectives. Please contact Thom Barnhardt at tb(at)biznespolska.pl, or +48-508-143-963 (in Poland).
What kind of media support does this event have?
We have media support in the United States, UK, France, Scandinavia, Germany, Japan, Taiwan, and Australia. Additionally, we have support from media across Central & Eastern Europe.
Who is the organizer?
We are an American-owned independent media group (CEE Business Media) with deep experience in Poland and CEE over the last 20 years, based in Warsaw, and we are primarily "connectors". We do that by organizing Awards events and online Matchmaking events, and publishing directories and websites. Our focus topics include SSC/BPO, Digital Services, and FDI investment into/from the CEE region. We also organize 4 other Awards events per year for the CEE region (in Warsaw, United States and Japan).
What is the concept and history behind the CEE X-Tech Awards?
The CEE region is a hotbed of up-n-coming Technology companies with global ambitions. We cover Poland, Hungary, Czech, Slovakia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Romania, Serbia, Bulgaria – and Ukraine. The Awards distinguish top X-Tech companies who are growing globally. We have organized for 4 years the annual CEE X-Tech Awards in Poland and covering the whole CEE region.
